In the year 1979 the people’s movement against the despotic Pahlavi monarchy shook the entire world, and with the bloodshed of scores of compatriots rule was transferred to the Islamic Republic.

With the use of religion as a vital weapon, Muslims fanatics baited innocent freedom-demanders into their own camp. Eventually young fighters, students and freedom-demanders were put to death, women were degraded to second-class citizens, and any voice of freedom was to be silence for the following 26 years.

Let it be that one day our people unite in peace and solidarity to overthrow this fascist Islamic rule.

The International Alliance of Iranian Students in Switzerland invites all compatriots to participate in this demonstration to be held on February 11 (22 Bahman) at 11 a.m. to support the freedom-demanding movement of the Iranian people and to condemn the inhumane Islamic Republic.
