5. Prohibiting phone calls and visitations for lengthy periods of time
6. Imprisoning the father or mother of the political prisoner in solitary confinement in order to cause distress for the prisoner and obtain a confession
7. Vicious interrogations while the political prisoner is blindfolded and facing the wall; interrogations from midnight onwards
8. Issuing compulsory divorce orders for the partners of political prisoners
9. Obtaining confessions through physical and psychological torture
10. Dictating the contents which the political prisoner is forced to later confess under duress
11. Lack of medical treatment for sick political prisoners
12. Imprisonment for months and years without receiving an official sentence
13. Refusing to count time served towards the completion of the sentence once it has been issued
14. Threatening, insulting, and belittling the political prisoner in the process of abusively interrogating him about his beliefs
15. Intentionally providing political prisoners with the wrong medication and stealing their medication
16. Lack of treatment for pain and dental cavities
17. Threatening and harassing the relatives of political prisoners
18. Depriving the political prisoner of sleep for several days in order to obtain a confession
19. Filming and recording compulsory television interviews where the political prisoner is forced to recount information dictated to him under duress
20. Failing to acknowledge or act in response to instances of hunger strikes
21. Prohibiting prisoners from having newspapers or books in solitary confinement
22. Preventing the political prisoner in solitary confinement from bathing or shaving for long periods of time
23. Providing the political prisoner with false information in order to toy with him and cause emotional and mental distress
24. Obstructing the right of self defense in court by interfering and preventing the political prisoner or his lawyer from building a case
25. Using abusive language and insulting the political prisoner and his family in court
